Since Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker had assumed the charge of Acting Governor, the Acting Speaker Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with the recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (P.B.U.H.) by Qari Ghulam Rasool..
Privilege Motions
Two privilege motions by Mrs Fauzia Behram and Hafiz Muhammad Qamar Hayat Kathiya were taken up and the Chair directed Mr Kamran Michael, Minister for Minorities and Human Rights, to look into the matter.

General Discussion on Annul Budget for the Year 2008-2009
The general discussion on Annual Budget for the year 2008-2009 was resumed on the second day. The following members participated:- Chaudhry Ahsan Haq Nolatia, Mr Joel Amir Sahutra, Ms Azma Zahid Bukhari, Dr Muhammad Akhtar Malik, Mr Iftikhar Ali Khitran and Dr Amna Buttar.
Dr Amna Buttar was delivering her speech when the time of the sitting came to an end and the House was adjourned to meet at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 21, 2008.
