The Acting Speaker, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, assumed the chair and proceedings commenced with the recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation by Qari Muhammad Ali Qadri, followed by recitation of Na’at-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH) by Mr Haider Ali (Assembly employee).
Government Business
The Punjab Finance Bill 2008
The Finance Minister Mr Tanvir Ashraf Kaira moved for the consideration and passage of the Finance Bill 2008 and the same was passed by the House.
Laying of the Schedule of Authorized Expenditure for the Year 2008-2009
The Finance Minister laid the Schedule of Authorized Expenditure for the year 2008-2009.
On completion of the business of the day, the Assembly was adjourned to meet on June 27, 2008 at 9.00 a.m.
