یہ ایوان صوبائی حکومت سے اس امر کی سفارش کرتا ہے کہ صوبائی دارالحکومت لاہور سمیت تمام میٹروپولیٹن شہروں میں سرکاری ملازمین اپنی آدھی سے زیادہ تنخواہ پر مہنگائی کے تناسب سے بڑھے ہوئے کرائے/ مہنگے گھروں پر رہنے پر مجبور ہیں۔ جبکہ حکومت پنجاب کی طرف سے ملنے والا ہاؤس رینٹ ناکافی ہے۔ جس سے پرائیویٹ رہائش نہیں ملتی۔ لہذا حکومت پنجاب لاہور سمیت تمام میٹروپولیٹن شہروں میں ہاؤس ریکوزیشن کی سہولت فراہم کرے تاکہ ملازمین ان شہروں میں باآسانی پرائیویٹ رہائش حاصل کر سکیں۔ |

یہ ایوان حکومت پنجاب کو اس امر کی سفارش کرتا ہے کہ صوبہ کی تمام جیلوں میں بند ایسے قیدی جن کی مقررہ قید ختم ہو چکی ہے مگر ایساجرمانہ جو سرکاری خزانہ میں جمع ہونا تھا، ادا نہ کرنے کی وجہ سے بند ہیں، کو فوری رہا کرنے کا حکم صادر فرمائے۔ |

یہ معزز ایوان وفاقی حکومت سے مطالبہ کرتا ہے کہ PTCLکی نج کاری کے عمل کے بارے میں شکوک و شبہات دور کرنے کیلئے ضروری تحقیقات کروائی جائیں نیز یہ کہ 29 ارب روپے سالانہ منافع کمانے والا ادارہ کس طرح صرف 18 ارب روپے میں بیچا گیا تھا۔ |

اس ایوان کی رائے ہے کہ صوبائی حکومت، وفاقی حکومت کو اس امر کی سفارش کرے کہ قرآن پاک کی طباعت متعلقہ قانون میں طے شدہ معیار پر کرائی جائے اور غیرمعیاری کاغذ پر طبع شدہ قرآن پاک کے نسخے غیرممالک کو Export نہ کئے جائیں اور اس سلسلہ میں خلاف ورزی کے مرتکب افراد کے خلاف قانون کے مطابق سخت کارروائی کی جائے۔ |

Questions Hour: −
Questions relating to the Education Department were asked and Minister for Agriculture holding additional charge of the Education Department, Mr. Ahmad Ali Aulakh answered the questions.
Privilege Motions:-
Ten Privilege motions were taken up. The motion moved by Mr. Sardar Shehzad Rasool Khan regarding misconduct of DDO(R) Tehsil Ali Pur District Muzzafargar, Wajid Shah, motion moved by Ms. Fouzia Behram regarding irresponsible reporting by a local newspaper, motion moved by Ms. Anjum Safdar regarding misconduct of SHO Thana Jalalpur Bhattian, District Hafizabad, Rana Farzand, were pended till tomorrow. The motion moved by Malik Ahmad Karim Qaswar Langrial regarding misconduct of SP Investigation Muzaffargarh, was pended till tomorrow as the mover was not present. The motion moved by Mr. Aamir Saeed Ansari regarding misbehavior of Principal Government Home Economics for Women, Batool Gardazi, pended as the mover was not present. The motion moved by Leader of Opposition, Ch. Zahir-ud-Din, regarding demand for nominating Raja Basharat as member Local Government Commission was disposed of as the mover was not present. The motion moved by Mr. Muhammad Yar Hiraj regarding invitation given by Secretary and Focal Person, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Azad to Pir Hussnain Shah addressing him as MPA despite he lost election to the mover, was disposed of as the mover was absent. The motion moved by Ch. Shahbaz Ahmed regarding misbehavior of Principal Government Technology College Railway Road Lahore, M.A Abbasi, was pended till tomorrow as the mover was absent. The motion moved by Al-Hajj Muhammad Ilyas Chinioti regarding misconduct of DPO Jhang was pended till tomorrow. The motion moved by Ms. Azma Zahid Bukhari regarding unsatisfactory answer by the answer given by the concerned Minister to her question, was pended till Friday. The motions were answered by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan.
Adjournment Motions:-
Three Adjournment Motions were taken up. Two Adjournment motions moved by Sheikh Ala ud Din one regarding registering fake FIR against Administrator of Health Care, Rana Mukhtar and his son by Cosmopolitan Club administration, and another regarding performance of Punjab Irrigation And Drainage Authority (PIDA), were disposed of. The Adjournment motion moved by Mr. Shoukat Aziz Bhatti regarding non submission of admission forms of private science students of matriculation by the Rawalpindi Secondary Board. The motion was disposed of.
Private Members Day:-
Resolutions:-
1. The resolution moved by Leader of Opposition Ch. Zahir-ud-Din regarding the provision of requisition of houses for the employees of the Civil Secretariat, the Lahore High Court and the Punjab Assembly, was pended till next session.
At this stage the Speaker welcomed the honorable guests came from Balochistan, who witnessed the proceedings.
- The resolution moved by Haji Zulfiqar Ali regarding release of prisoners due to non-payment of fines, was pended.
3. The resolution moved by Mr. Khalid Javed Asghar Ghural regarding involving agriculture specialists, farmers and growers in deciding prices of agriculture commodities was unanimously passed by the House.
4. The resolution moved by Sheikh Ala
5. The resolution moved by Mrs. Nasim Lodhi regarding printing of the Holy Qur’an on substandard papers and its export to foreign countries, was unanimously passed by the House.
6. The resolution moved by Mrs. Shahzadi Umerzadi regarding the proposal for imposing 18 percent tax on agriculture sector due to pressure of the IMF was pended as mover was not present.
7. The resolution moved by Mrs. Nighat Nasir Sheikh demanding the establishment of Hepatitis Laboratories and Wards at the district level, was unanimously passed by the House.
Miscellaneous Motion:-
The motions moved by honorable members regarding general discussion on Government Policy about the Health Department with particular reference to quacks responsible for spreading contagious diseases and performance of enforcement staff, second motion regarding Government Policy about education of handicapped children deaf, dumb and blind, third motion regarding general discussion on Law and Order, fourth motion regarding training and rehabilitation of the destitute, under privileged and neglected sections of the society such as orphans, widows and destitute etc, and implementation of the Punjab Destitute and Neglected Children Act, 2004 (xvii of 2004), fifth motion regarding increase in number of Cases of breast cancer among the women of Urban and Rural areas vis-à-vis inadequate health facilities available to them in the province, were referred to the Business Advisory Committee.
Then, the House was adjourned till 10:00 am, Wednesday, 26th November, 2008.
