میں قواعد و انضباط کار صوبائی اسمبلی پنجاب مصدرہ 1997کے قاعدہ243کے تحت یہ تحریک پیش کرتی ہوں کہ پنجاب اسمبلی کے ایوان نے مورخہ 15دسمبر1988 کو متفقہ طور پر قرارداد منظور کی کہ پنجاب اسمبلی کے ملازمین کیلئے ایک رہائشی کالونی بنا کر دی جائے، جس پر آج تک عمل درآمد نہ ہوسکا۔ مذکورہ قرارداد پر عمل درآمد نہ ہونے کے محرکات کو زیربحث لایا جائے تاکہ مہنگائی کے اس کمرتوڑ دور میں ملازمین کا دیرینہ مطالبہ پورا ہوسکے۔ جبکہ صحافی برادری کو حکومت نے حال ہی میں ایک رہائشی کالونی کیلئے زمین بھی مہیا کر دی ہے۔ لہذا اس صورتحال پر عام بحث کی جائے۔ |

Speaker Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an followed by its Urdu translation by Qari Ghulam Rasool. Abid Rouf Qadri presented Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Condolence:-
The House offered fateha on the sad demise of former member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, Nawabzada Sarfraz Hussain Khan.
Questions Hour: −
Questions relating to The Agriculture Department were asked and Minister for Agriculture, Malik Ahmad Ali Aulakh answered the questions.
Privilege Motions:-
Four Privilege motions were taken up. The motion moved by Leader of the Opposition, Ch. Zahir-ud-Din regarding failure in presenting the annual report of Punjab Public Service Commission Ordinance, 1978 for the year 2006 by the Governor in Punjab Assembly, was disposed of. The motion moved by Rai Farooq Umer Khan Kharral regarding misbehavior of EDO Health Okara, Dr. Rahmat, was disposed of as the mover was absent. The motion moved by Ms. Sakina Shaheen Khan regarding misbehavior of TOR, Ravi Town, Mr. Musharaf, was disposed of. The motion moved by Sheikh Ala ud Din regarding newspaper report about the concerned member reprimanded by Mr. Speaker was pended till tomorrow.
The motions were answered by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan.
Adjournment Motions:-
Four Adjournment Motions were taken up. Two motions were moved by Sheikh Ala ud Din one for regarding reducing 15 percent marks for O and A level students admission in medical colleges, was disposed of and other motion regarding property tax officials who are posted in their department should be transfer in those department where there are no direct public dealing, so that corruption could prevent was answered by Minister for Excise & Taxation, Mian Mujtuba Shuja-ur-Rehman and was pended till Monday. The Motion moved by Makhdoom Syed Ahmad Mehmood regarding alleged grabbing of a farm named Roberts Farms in Rahim Yar Khan by a MPA, Ch. Moonis Elahi was referred to the House Committee. The Motion moved by Mr. Khalid Javed Asghar Ghural regarding police action in Zamindara College, Gujrat, was pended till Monday.
The motions were answered by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan.

- The Bill moved by Sheikh Ala ud Din titled “THE PUNJAB CONSUMER PROTECTION (AMENDMENT) BILL 2009 (Bill No. 5 of 2009)” was pended till next Private Members Day.
Resolutions:-
- The resolution moved by Mrs. Amna Ulfat regarding the provision of requisition of houses in all metropolitan cities including Lahore, was passed by the House.
- The resolution moved by Mr. Muhammad Mohsin Khan Leghari asking the Punjab Government to take immediate steps to develop and promote Islamic modes of banking in line with the policies, instruction and criteria as laid down by the State Bank in the Province of the Punjab, was passed by the House..
- The resolution moved by Rana Asif Mahmood demanding 20 additional marks for all minority candidates seeking employment in Punjab, was pended till next Private Members Day.
