                A MINISTER to lay the Audit Report on the Accounts of Government of the Punjab for the year 2005-06.

 

2.     LAYING OF APPROPRIATION ACCOUNTS OF GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB FOR THE YEAR 2004-05

 

                A MINISTER to lay the Appropriation Accounts of Government of the Punjab for the year 2004-05.

 

3.     LAYING OF THE FINANCE ACCOUNTS OF GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB FOR THE YEAR 2004-05

 

                A MINISTER to lay the Finance Accounts of Government of the Punjab for the year 2004-05.

 

4.     LAYING OF APPROPRIATION ACCOUNTS OF GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB, FOREST DEPARTMENT, FOR THE YEAR 2004-05

 

                A MINISTER to lay the Appropriation Accounts of Government of the Punjab, Forest Department, for the year 2004-05.

 

5.     LAYING OF AUDIT REPORT ON THE ACCOUNTS OF GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB, CIVIL WORKS, FOR THE YEAR 2005-06

 

                A MINISTER to lay the Audit Report on the Accounts of Government of the Punjab, Civil Works, for the year 2005-06.

 

6.     LAYING OF AUDIT REPORT ON THE ACCOUNTS OF PUBLIC SECTOR ENTERPRISES, GOVERNMENT OF THE  PUNJAB, FOR THE YEAR 2005-06

 

                A MINISTER to lay the Audit Report on the Accounts of Public Sector Enterprises, Government of the Punjab, for the year 2005-06.

 

7.     THE PROVINCIAL MOTOR VEHICLES (AMENDMENT) BILL 2009 (Bill No.9 of 2009)

 

                A MINISTER to move that the Provincial Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill 2009, as recommended by Standing Committee on Transport, be taken into consideration at once.

 

                A MINISTER to move that the Provincial Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill 2009 be passed.

 

8.     THE PUNJAB MAINTENANCE OF PUBLIC ORDER (AMENDMENT) BILL 2008 (Bill No.13 of 2008)

 

                A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Maintenance of Public Order (Amendment) Bill 2008, as recommended by Special Committee, be taken into consideration at once.

 

                A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Maintenance of Public Order (Amendment) Bill 2008 be passed.

SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS

Speaker Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an followed by its Urdu translation by Qari Muhammad Ali Qadri. Abdul Rouf Qadri presented Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).

Questions Hour: −

Questions relating to The Home Department were asked and Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah Khan, holding additional charge of the Home Department, answered the questions.

Extension of the date of laying Reports:-

Malik Muhammad Waris Kallo requested the House to extend the date up to 30 April, 2009 for laying the reports of Privilege Committee regarding Privilege Motions No. 4,6,15,23,24,25,31,34,35,40,49,51,52 and 58for the year 2008 and Privilege Motions No. 3 and 4 for the year 2009. The House gave approval for extension.

Privilege Motions:-

Only one Privilege motion was taken up. The motion moved by Mrs. Samina Khawar Hayat regarding misbehavior of SP Traffic, Lahore, Sardar Asif, was pended till tomorrow.

The motion was answered by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan.

Adjournment Motions:-

Four Adjournment Motions were taken up. The motion moved by Sheikh Ala ud Din regarding selling of newly-constructed Ministers Block near Punjab Civil Secretariat, was referred to the Privilege Committee and Mr. Speaker constituted the committee consists of the following members: Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Rana Sanaullah Khan, Minister for Finance Tanvir Ashraf Kaira, Sheikh Ala ud Din, Mr. Muhammad Mohsin Khan Leghari, Mr. Muhammad Ajasim Sharif, Makhdoom Syed Ahmad Mehmood, Mr. Saeed Akbar Khan. The motion moved by Malik Muhammad Waris Kallo regarding allocation of for budget medicines by the provincial hospitals, was pended till Friday. The motion moved by Mr. Sher Ali Khan regarding dismissal of 923 Grade 4 employees of Punjab Highway, was pended till tomorrow. The motion moved by Mian Muhammad Naveed Anjum regarding failure in taking safety measures by factory owners of iron-melting and vehicles denting/painting, was pended till Friday.
