Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation by Qari Syed Sadaqat Ali followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (P.B.U.H.) by Mr. Sarwar Hussain Naqshbandi.
Question Hour: −
Questions relating to Zakat and Ushr Department were asked and Haji Ihsan ud Din Qureshi, Minister for Zakat and Ushr (holding additional charge) answered the questions.
Fateha:-
The House offered fateha for the sad demise of Ajmal Khan Khatak, Senior leader of Awami National Party (ANP) and Latif Ullah Khan Alizai, MPA of NWFP.
Adjournment Motions:-
Three Adjournment Motions were taken up. Two Motions were moved by Sheikh Ala ud Din regarding presenting details of contract cost and completion cost of projects progressing under the C&W, Buildings and Irrigation Department was disposed of while the other Motion regarding problems faced by unmarried women in the society as admitted for General discussion in the house and were answered by Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs. The Motion moved by Peer Walayat Shah Khagha regarding theft of six cows from Qadirabad Farm, district Sahiwal on the assurance of Malik Nadeem Kamran Minister for Food to sort the matter the motion was disposed of.

Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs moved the following Bills:
“The Ali Institute of Education Lahore Bill 2008 (Bill No. 12 Of 2008)”, which was passed unanimously by the House.
The King Edward Medical University (Amendment) Bill 2010 (Bill No.11 of 2010), which was referred to the Standing Committee on Education to submit its report up to 15th March, 2010.
