Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation by Qari Muhammad Ali followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (P.B.U.H.) by Mr. Abid Rauf Qadri.

Questions relating to Livestock and Dairy Development Department were asked and Malik Ahmad Ali Aulakh, Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development (holding additional charge) answered the questions.
Extension In Time Limit For Laying The Reports:-
On a Motion moved by Mr. Ali Haidar Noor Khan Niazi, the House granted extension in the time limit till 31, March, 2010, for laying the report of the Standing Committee on Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering on Question No. 1619 moved by Mian Naseer Ahmed and Question No. 2211 moved by Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan.
On a Motion moved by Sardar Muhammad Khan Khichi, the House granted extension in the time limit till 31, March, 2010, for laying the report of the Standing Committee on Industries on “The Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority Bill 2010 (Bill No.7 of 2010)”.
Adjournment Motions:-
Eight Adjournment Motions were taken up. The Motion moved by Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmad regarding the Director Finance and Planning who is posted at Faisalabad since 1996 and has not been transferred from the District, the Motion moved by Mr. Khalid Imtiaz Khan Baluch regarding corruption at TMA, Iqbal Town, Faisalabad, the Motion moved by Dr. Samia Amjad regarding newspaper report about not making them regular to doctors working at PRSP, the Motion moved by Mian Naseer Ahmed regarding negligence of contractor of Cantonment Board were pended till Monday.dated 22 February the Motion moved by Farah Deeba regarding waiving off 65 percent entertainment duty on Pakistani films at cinema houses, the Motion moved by Sheikh Ala ud Din regarding discriminatory attitude with PCS officers, the Motion moved by Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Chohan regarding not having doctor of Specialist Cadre in the team visited at Mandi Bahauddin were pended till next session. The Motion moved by Syeda Majida Zaidi regarding newspaper report about not providing facilities to the patients at Institute of Public Health, Lahore was disposed of.
The Motions were answered by Rana Sanaullah Khan Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.

Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs opened the debate on water issue. The following members participated in the discussion:
