Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation by Qari Noor Muhammad followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH) by Mr. Abid Rauf Qadri.

Questions relating to S&GAD Department were asked and Rana Sanaullah Khan, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs (holding additional charge) answered the questions.
Adjournment Motions:
Ten Adjournment motions were taken up. Motion moved by Sardar Khalid Saleem Bhatti regarding Water filters Burewala city was kept pending till next week, motion moved by Mrs. Nighat Nasir Sheikh regarding transport companies working in Lahore, which are not giving proper services to the masses, motion moved by Ch. Ali Asghar Manda regarding fees being changed in the name of certificate fees by Lahore Board, motion moved by Mrs. Amna Ulfat demanding meeting for promotion of Secondary School Teachers (SST) in Lahore, and motion moved by Shaikh Allaud Din regarding forest plants was disposed of and his other motion Preferring tap water instead of plastic water bottle, motion moved by Mian Muhammad Rafiq regarding protest of power looms workers for the increase of their daily wages, motion moved by Dr. Samia Amjad regarding newspaper report about charging additional fees of Rs. 450 for the degree award by the Intermediate and Secondary Education Board , motion moved by Seemal Kamran regarding security expenditures of I.G Punjab, Mr. Tariq Salim Dogar from Police Welfare Funds, motion moved by Ms. Anjum Safdar demanding waste water treatment plant at Magna Textile Mills, Faisalabad, were kept pending till Thursday.
The motions were answered by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.
Motion under rule 150 (1)
Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan moved the motion under rule 150 (1) of ROP, regarding electing Malik Saiful Malook Khokhar (PP-160), as member Standing Committee on Agriculture on the seat vacated by Rana Mubashir Iqbal (PP-160). The motion was passed by the House.
Private Members Day:-
Resolutions on Matters of General Public Interest:-
1. The Resolution moved by Khawaja Muhammad Islam regarding demanding of federal government to impose ban on use of Gutka was disposed of with the direction to make Committee on the matter.
2. The Resolution moved by Mrs. Samina Khawar Hayat regarding imposition of ban on cartoon network, pogo channels and such programmes, which are promoting Indian culture was disposed of.
3. The Resolution moved by Seemal Kamran regarding taking measures to generate cheap electricity from gas turbines was kept pending till next Private Members Day.
4. The Resolution moved by Mr. Muhammad Mohsin Khan Leghari demanding compensation for the loss of crops by floods, economic support to the growers for sowing the next crops and also provision of fertilizers and seed for them was disposed of.
5. The Resolution moved by Humaira Awais Shahid regarding introduction of interest free banking system in the province was withdrawn by the mover.
