Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation by Qari Muhammad Abdul Ghaffar Shakir followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH) by Mr Muhammad Afzal Noshahi.
Question Hour: −
Questions relating to Local Government and Community Development Department were asked and Ch. Abdul Razzaq Dhillon, Parliamentary Secretary for Local Government and Community Development answered the questions.
Privilege Motions:-
Four Privilege Motions were taken up. The motion of Mr. Ejaz Ahmad Kahlon regarding misbehavior of TMO, Tehsil Sargodha, motion of Ch. Muhammad Tariq Gujjar regarding misbehavior of Shaukat Abbas, SSP, Investigation, Gujranwala, motion of Ch. Zaheer-ud-Din regarding arrest of Ch. Moonis Elahi by FIA during Session without intimation to Speaker were kept pending till Monday and last motion of Ch. Muhammad Arshad regarding misbehavior of Secretary Irrigation was kept pending till Tuesday.
The Motions were answered by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.
The House was then adjourned till 3:00 pm on Monday, March 28, 2011.
