Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan, Deputy Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).

Privilege Motion:-

One Privilege Motion was taken up, which was moved by Seemal Kamran regarding misbehavior of Mr. Mubeen Butt, SHO Satokatla,Lahore with the member concerned. The motion was kept pending till Monday.

The Motion was answered by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.

GOVERNMENT BUSINESS

General Discussion on Supplementary Budget for the year 2010-11.

The following members participated in the first day general discussion on the Supplementary Budget for the year 2010-11:-  Ch. Ehsan-ul-Haq Ahsan Nolatia, Sardar Qaiser Abbas Khan Magassi, Ms. Arifa Khalid Pervez, Mrs. Najmi Saleem, Mrs.‏ Qamar Aamir Ch, Mr. Muhammad Saeed Mughal, Rana Munawar Hussain alias Rana Munawar Ghous Khan, Ms. Sakina Shaheen Khan, Dr. Musarrat Hassan, Mrs.‏ Rana Rizvi, Mrs.‏ Samina Naveed,  Qazi Ahmed Saeed, Dr. Samia Amjad, Sardar Sher Ali Khan Gorchani, Ms. Saghira Islam, Mr.Ejaz Ahmad Kahlon and Mr. Ahmed Khan Balouch. 

Extension In Time Limit For Laying The Reports:-

On a Motion moved by Mian Naseer Ahmed, the House granted extension up to one month to Standing Committee on Privileges for laying its report on “Starred Question No. 3204 asked by Mrs Ayesha Javed, MPA (W-355).”

On a Motion moved by Dr. Asad Ashraf , the House granted extension up to one month to Special Committee for laying its report on “Adjournment Motion No. 117/11”.

On a Motion moved by Mr. Allah Rakha, the House granted extension up to one month to Standing Committee on Privileges for laying its report in respect of “Starred Question No. 3217 asked by Mrs Ayesha Javed, MPA (W-355).”

On a Motion moved by Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmad, the House granted extension up to one month to Special Committee for laying its report on “Motion No. 92 for the year 2010 moved by Sayed Hassan Murtaza, MPA (W-355).”

The House was then adjourned till 3:00 pm on Monday, June 27, 2011.
