Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).

Eleven Ajournment Motions were taken up. The Motion moved by Ch. Zaheer-ud-Din regarding newspaper report about tempering in official record and allotting 10 marlas and170 feet to Mr Muhammad Akram S/o Muhammad Jamil by Sameen Khan, Ex-Revenue officer and Mr Irfan, Patwari, Motion moved by Mrs. Samina Khawar Hayat regarding delaying in Tourist Resort project at Wagah border, Three motions were moved by Shaikh Allaud Din, one regarding illegal shops constructed on Railway land in Lahore, second motion regarding illegal possession of lands, around Dingys in Punjab were kept pended till next week and last motion regarding not giving pensions to the retired employees of Market Committees at Okara District was disposed of. Three Motions moved by Seemal Kamran, one regarding newspaper report about thousands of licentious dogs, who are biting people in Lahore, second motion regarding newspaper report about corruption in Revenue Department and the last motion regarding newspaper report about protest of thousands of students for their faulty marking in Intermediate Part-1 at Gujranwala, the motion moved by Ch. Aamir Sultan Cheema regarding discrimination in allotting government land to the poors at Toba Tek Singh District, motion moved by Sardar Khalid Saleem Bhatti regarding not taking action against illegal flour and marbles factories in the members constituency were disposed of.

"صوبائی اسمبلی پنجاب کے اس نمائندہ ایوان کی رائے ہے کہ وطن عزیز کو درپیش مسائل کے حل کیلئے تمام صوبوں کو ان کے جائز حقوق دینے کا وقت آ گیا ہے۔ یہ ایوان پاکستان مسلم لیگ (ن)کے قائد میاں محمد نوازشریف کے اس بیان کو سراہتا ہے کہ بلوچستان کے ساتھ ہونے والے ظلم اور زیادتیوں کا ازالہ کرنا ہوگا اور بلوچستان کا مقدمہ اب مسلم لیگ (ن) لڑے گی۔ بلوچستان کے ساتھ زیادتیاں کرنے والوں کا محاسبہ ضروری ہے۔ بلوچ رہنما نواب محمد اکبر خان بگٹی کے قاتلوں کو کیفرکردار تک پہنچانا ضروری ہے تاکہ بلوچستان کے زخموں پر مرہم رکھا جا سکے۔
