Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Fateha:-
The House offered fateha on the sad demise of Mr. Amir Hayat Khan Rokhari (PP-44).
Resolution:-
Rana Sanaullah Khan, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs moved the following condolence Resolution on the sad demise of Mr. Amir Hayat Khan Rokhari (PP-44), which was unanimously passed by the House.

"یہ ایوان حلقہ پی پی۔44 (میانوالی) سے صوبائی اسمبلی پنجاب کے رکن، عامر حیات خان روکھڑی مرحوم کی وفات پر گہرے رنج و غم کا اظہار کرتا ہے اور ان کے لواحقین سے دلی تعزیت کرتا ہے۔ مرحوم کی وفات سے یہ ایوان اپنے ایک نہایت شریف النفس رکن سے محروم ہوگیا ہے۔ انہوں نے ایچی سن کالج اور ایف سی کالج سے تعلیم حاصل کی۔ وہ 1985 سے 1988 تک قومی اسمبلی کے رکن رہے۔ اس کے بعد دو مرتبہ 1990 سے 1993 تک اور پھر 2002 سے 2007 تک پنجاب اسمبلی کے رکن رہے۔ مرحوم کا تعلق میانوالی کے ایک معروف سیاسی گھرانے سے تھا۔ آپ کے والد
خان امیر عبداللہ خان روکھڑی تحریک پاکستان کے اہم رہنما تھے اور وہ سینیٹ، قومی اسمبلی اور پنجاب اسمبلی کے رکن بھی رہے۔
عامر حیات خان روکھڑی مرحوم کو کھیلوں سے خصوصی لگاؤ تھا۔ آپ لاہور سٹی کرکٹ ایسوسی ایشن کے صدر، پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ کی گورننگ باڈی کے رکن، پاکستان بیڈ منٹن فیڈریشن کے سیکرٹری جنرل اور پنجاب بیڈ منٹن ایسوسی ایشن کے صدر بھی رہے۔ آپ نے بین الاقوامی کانفرنسز میں پاکستان کی نمائندگی بھی کی۔ یہ ایوان دُعاگو ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ مرحوم کو جنت الفردوس میں جگہ عطا فرمائے اور ان کے پسماندگان کو صبر جمیل عطا فرمائے۔آمین"
