Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Deputy Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
The Deputy Speaker welcomed the delegation of University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, who came to witness Assembly Proceedings.
Due to token walk out by the Opposition Benches on the issue of Punjab Institute of Cardiology, the quorum was pointed out and the Chair read out the Prorogation Order received from the Governor Punjab and the Session was then prorogued.
