Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).

Questions relating to Industries, Mines and Minerals Department were asked and answered by Haji Ch. Abdul Ghafoor, Minister for Food (holding additional charge).

GENERAL DISCUSSION ON MEASURES FOR PROTECTION OF WOMEN IN THE PROVINCE:-
General discussion for the protection of Women in the Province took place in the House. Mr. Khalil Tahir Sindhu, Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights opened up the Speech.
At this stage, the quorum was pointed out and the House was then adjourned till 3:00 pm on Monday, March, 12, 2012
