Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Extension In Time Limit For Laying The Reports:-
On a Motion moved by Mr. Javed Hassan Gujjar, the House granted extension up to three months to Standing Committee on Privileges for laying its reports on “Privilege Motion No. 91 for the year 2008, Motions No 23, 28, 31, 50 and 57 for the year 2009, Motions No 5, 10 and 21 for the year 2010, Motions No 2,9,13,16,23,24,25,28,53,56,64,70,71,72,76 and 77 for the year 2011 and Motions No 1,3,4,7,8,10,11,12,15 for the year 2012.
On a Motion moved by Shaikh Allaud Din, the House granted extension up to one month to Special Committee No. 13 for laying its report on “Progress of implementation of the recommendations of the previous Special Committee regarding Private Money Landing Act, 2007”.
GOVERNMENT BUSINESS:-
“COMMENCEMENT OF GENERAL DISCUSSION ON ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 2012-13”:-
General discussion on Annual Budget for the year 2012-13 continued for the fourth day. Following members participated in the discussion: Rana Tanveer Ahmad, Nasir Ms. Rifat Sultana Dar, Mrs. Amna Ulfat, Haji Imran Zafar, Syeda Majida Zaidi, Syed Nazim Hussain Shah, Ms. Saghira Islam, Ms. Raheela Khadim Hussain, Mian Muhammad Shafiq, Ms. Zobia Rubab Malik, Mian Muhammad Shafi, Mr. Tahir Iqbal Chaudhry and Ms. Fozia Behram.
The House was then adjourned till 3:00 pm on Monday, June 18, 2012.
