            RESUMPTION OF CLAUSE-BY-CLAUSE consideration (from Clause 6) of the Punjab Transparency and Right to Information Bill 2013, as recommended by Special Committee No.1.

 

            A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Transparency and Right to Information Bill 2013, be passed.

 

2.   THE LAHORE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (AMENDMENT) BILL 2013 (BILL No. 17 of 2013)

 

            A MINISTER to move that the Lahore Development Authority (Amendment) Bill 2013, as recommended by Special Committee No.1, be taken into consideration at once.

 

            A MINISTER to move that the Lahore Development Authority (Amendment) Bill 2013, be passed.

Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani, Acting Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).

Question Hour: −  

Questions relating to Food and Auqaf Departments were asked and Mr. Bilal Yasin, Minister for Food and Mian Atta Muhammad Manika, Minister for Auqaf answered the questions.

Call Attention Notices:-

Two Call Attention Notices were taken up. The Notice of Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed regarding assassination of a religious leader, Hafiz Shams-ur-Rehman by unknown killers at Ravi Road, Lahore and the other Notice of Sheikh Ijaz Ahmad regarding dacoity of Rs.22 lacs and 52 tola gold at the residence of Kashif Cheema, located at Rehman Gardan, Satiana Road, Faisalabad, were disposed of.

The Notices were answered by Rana Sanaullah Khan, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.

Privilege Motion:-

The Privilege Motion moved by Mr. Muhmmad Saqlain Anwar Sipra regarding misbehavior of Arbab Samija, Sub Inspector, Choki Incharge, Mukhayna, Jhang with the member concerned was referred to the Special Committee No. 1 with the direction to submit its report within one month.

The Motion was answered by Mr. Khalil Tahir Sindhu, Minister for Human Rights.

Adjournment Motions:-

Five Adjournment Motions were taken up. The motion moved by Saadia Sohail Rana regarding non-implementation of the order of Provincial Ombudsman by the Finance Department Punjab to allow Secretariat Allowance and next scale promotion to all Government employees of Punjab from BPS-1 to 15, Two motions moved by Sardar Vikas Hassan Moakal one regarding shortage of “Tenofovir” a life saving medicine in all the hospitals of Punjab, used by “AIDS” patients, the other Motion regarding non-accreditation of University College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences established 7 years back under Islamia University Bahawalpur, with PVMC, due to non availability of proper facilities required for accreditation, due to which alumni of this University are facing difficulties to get jobs, Motion moved by Sheikh Ijaz Ahmad regarding deforestation of large forest area in Faisalabad Division especially Tehsil Kamalia District Toba Tek Singh, inconnivance with corrupt officers and employees of the Forest Department were disposed of. The motion moved by Sheikh Ala-ud-Din regarding death of a woman namely Ms Razia, who was taken by her family members to Rural Health Center, Talamba, THQ Mian Channu and Nishtar Hospital Multan died due to non availability of Anti Rabies Vaccine was kept pending.

The Motions were answered by Mr. Khalil Tahir Sindhu, Minister for Human Rights.
