Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Condolence:-
The House observed two minutes silence for the departed soul of Mr. Handery Masih, a Minority Member of Balochistan Assembly murdered by his security guard.
General Discussion on Annual Budget for the Year 2014-15:-
General Discussion on the Annual Budget was initiated by Leader of Opposition, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed. He criticized the Government and expressed total dissatisfaction with the budgetary outlay. He further said that he had not found anything therein worthy of public welfare and interest.
The following Members also participated in the budget discussion:- Ch. Ali Asghar Manda, Advocate, Dr. Ayesha Ghaus Pasha, Sheikh Ala-ud-Din , Mrs Azma Zahid Bukhari, Ch. Abdul Razzaq Dhillon, Mian Muhammad Rafique, Rana Babar Hussain , Qazi Adnan Fareed, Mr. Mahmood Qadir Khan, Mian Naseer Ahmad, Ch. Nazar Hussain, Mr. Muhammad Asif Bajwa, Advocate, Dr. Nadia Aziz, Mr. Amanat Ullah Khan Shadi Khel, Mr. Muhammad Anees Qureshi, Mian Tariq Mehmood, Ch. Yasin Sohl, Mian Irfan Daultana, Mr. Abu Hafs Muhammad Ghiyas-ud-Din, Ch. Ashraf Ali Ansari, Rana Munawar Hussain alias Rana Munawar Ghous Khan, Qazi Ahmed Saeed and Sardar Vickas Hassan Mokal.
The House was then adjourned till 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 17th June, 2014.
