Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).

General Discussion on Supplementary Budget for the Year 2013-14:-

Mian Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman, Minister for Finance concluded the debate on Supplementary Budget for the Year 2013-14 to the tune of Rs.21.68 billion against 82 billion of the preceding year. In his winding up speech the Finance Minister said that volume of current year’s supplementary budget was 74 per cent less than the previous year and the additional amount in budget 2013-14 was spent on health sector, provision of subsidy to the masses on daily use items, and law and order
