            A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Infrastructure Development Cess Bill 2015, as introduced, be taken into consideration at once.

(b)  LAYING OF THE SCHEDULE OF AUTHORIZED EXPENDITURE

LAYING OF THE SCHEDULE OF AUTHORIZED EXPENDITURE FOR THE YEAR 2015-2016

            A MINISTER to lay the Schedule of Authorized Expenditure for the year 2015-2016.

      A MINISTER to move that the Provincial Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill 2015, as recommended by Standing Committee on Transport, be taken into consideration at once.

            A MINISTER to move that the Provincial Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill 2015, be passed.

2.   THE STAMP (AMENDMENT) BILL 2015 (BILL No. 27 of 2015)

            A MINISTER to move that the Stamp (Amendment) Bill 2015, as recommended by Standing Committee on Revenue, Relief and Consolidation, be taken into consideration at once.

            A MINISTER to move that the Stamp (Amendment) Bill 2015, be passed.

3.   THE PUNJAB MASSTRANSIT AUTHORITY BILL 2015 (BILL No. 22 of 2015)

      A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Masstransit Authority Bill 2015, as recommended by Standing Committee on Transport, be taken into consideration at once.

            A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Masstransit Authority Bill 2015, be passed.

4.   THE GHAZI UNIVERSITY, DERA GHAZI KHAN (AMENDMENT) BILL 2015 (BILL No. 24 of 2015)

      A MINISTER to move that the Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan (Amendment) Bill 2015, as recommended by Standing Committee on Education, be taken into consideration at once.

RESOLUTIONS UNDER ARTICLE 128(2)(a) OF THE CONSTITUTION

1.   MOTION UNDER RULE 127 OF THE RULES OF PROCEDURE OF PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF THE PUNJAB, 1997.

            A MINISTER to move that leave be granted to move a Resolution under Article 128(2)(a) of the Constitution for extension of the Provincial Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Ordinance 2015.

            A MINISTER to move the following Resolution:-

RESOLUTION

            “The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of the Provincial Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Ordinance 2015 (XII of 2015), promulgated on 16th April 2015, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 15 July 2015.”

Government Business

Consideration and Passage of Finance Bills

Dr. Aisha Ghaus Pasha, Minister for Finance moved “THE PUNJAB FINANCE BILL 2015 (Bill No. 33 of 2015)” and THE PUNJAB INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT CESS BILL 2015 (Bill No. 34 of 2015)which were considered and passed by the House.

Laying of the Schedule of Authorized Expenditure

Dr. Aisha Ghaus Pasha, Minister for Finance laid before the House “the Schedule of Authorized Expenditure for the year 2015-2016”.

Consideration and Passage of Bills

The House passed the following Bills moved by Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs after the recommendations of the concerned Standing Committees.

1.    THE PROVINCIAL MOTOR VEHICLES (AMENDMENT) BILL 2015 (BILL No. 23 of 2015)

Suspension of Rules:-

On a motion moved by Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs under Rule 234 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997, the House granted leave to suspend Rule 115 and others of the Rules ibid, for taking up the following Resolution.

Resolution:-

Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs moved the resolution expressing profound grief and sorrow over the loss of hundreds of human lives in Sindh due to intense heat wave. He lauded the federal government’s efforts to overcome energy crises and addressed power shortage with the help of China, increasing electricity production from 13,000 MW to 16,500 MW besides pressing the federal government to ensure uninterrupted power supply during sehr and iftar timings during Ramazan, which was passed by the House.


The House was then adjourned till Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 10:00 am.

"یہ ایوان کراچی اور اندرون سندھ شدید گرمی کی وجہ سے سینکڑوں افراد کی ہلاکت پر انتہائی دُکھ اور افسوس کا اظہار کرتا ہے اور ہلاک ہونے والوں کے لواحقین سے اظہار ہمدردی کرتا ہے۔

یہ ایوان بجلی کی مجموعی پیداوار میں اضافہ کو قدر کی نگاہ سے دیکھتا ہے جو گزشتہ سالوں میں 12 سے 13 ہزار میگاواٹ کے درمیان تھی اور اب 15.5 سے 16.5 ہزار میگا واٹ تک ہو گئی ہے، نیز یہ ایوان وفاقی حکومت / وزیراعظم پاکستان میاں محمد نوازشریف کی دوست ملک چین کے تعاون سے آئندہ سالوں (دسمبر 2017) تک بجلی کی پیداوار کو ملکی ضرورت کے لیول پر لانے اور لوڈشیڈنگ کے مکمل خاتمے کی کوششوں کو سراہتا ہے۔

مزید برآں یہ ایوان وفاقی حکومت سے مطالبہ کرتا ہے کہ ماہ رمضان میں سحری و افطاری کے اوقات میں بجلی کی بلاتعطل فراہمی کو یقینی بنایا جائے۔"
