اس ایوان کی رائے ہے کہ صوبہ بھر کے ان نجی سکولوں کے خلاف کارروائی کی جائے جو طلبا کو سکول کے Logo والی مہنگی Note Books خریدنے پر مجبور کرتے ہیں تاکہ والدین بچوں کے لئے کسی بھی بُک شاپ سے بآسانی اور مناسب قیمت پر Note Books خرید سکیں۔

اس ایوان کی رائے ہے کہ سرکاری اداروں میں کوآرڈینیشن کے فقدان کے باعث غیر قانونی مذبح خانوں کے خلاف کارروائی غیرموثر ہو کر رہ گئی اور مضر صحت گوشت کی فروخت میں اضافہ ہوتا جا رہا ہے۔ لہذا یہ ایوان حکومت سے مطالبہ کرتا ہے کہ غیرقانونی مذبح خانوں اور مضر صحت گوشت فروخت کرنے والوں کے خلاف سخت کارروائی کی جائے۔

اس ایوان کی رائے ہے کہ کیمیکل والے مضر صحت دودھ کی فروخت میں اضافے کے پیش نظر بڑے شہروں میں عوام کو چار دیواری کے اندر کم از کم ایک بھینس یا گائے رکھنے کی اجازت دی جائے۔

Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani, Deputy Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Question Hour
Questions relating to Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department were asked and Ch. Nazar Hussain, Parliamentary Secretary for Law & Parliamentary Affairs answered the questions while questions relating to Public Prosecution and Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education, were kept pending.
Leave of Absence
Rai Mumtaz Hussain Babar, Senior Secretary, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, read out the leave applications of the following Members and the House granted them leave:-

Adjournment Motion
The Adjournment Motion moved by Mian Naseer Ahmad regarding sale of dug soil in Lahore despite ban on its sale, was kept pending till next week.
Private Members Day
Resolutions in the Public Interest
The resolution of Ms. Gulnaz Shehzadi demanding the Government to take action against those private schools which force parents to buy expensive note books carrying logo of their schools rather than to buy cheap note books from market, was disposed of as the mover was not present.
Dr. Syed Waseem Akhtar moved a resolution demanding establishment of at least one University at District level in the entire Province was unanimously passed by the House.
The resolution of Malik Taimoor Masood that due to lack of coordination between government institutions the action against illegal slaughter houses has become ineffective and there is increase in the sale of substandard meat which is injurious to health and demanding the government to take stern action against the butchers selling substandard meat and illegal slaughter houses, was kept pending.
The Resolution of Ch. Aamir Sultan Cheema that in the light of sale of chemical mixed milk in the metropolis which is injurious to health, people should be allowed to keep at least one cow or buffalo in their houses, was disposed of as mover was not present.
The Resolution of Mr. Ahmed Khan Bhacher demanding a ban on unsafe sale of LPG by decanting in every street in the Province to prevent loss of life and properties, was kept pending till next Private Members’ Day.
Suspension of Rules
On a motion moved by Mr. Mumtaz Ahmad Qaisrani (Bhutto Khan) under Rule 234 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, 1997, the House granted leave to suspend Rule 115 and others of the Rules ibid, for taking up the following Resolution:-
Resolution
The Resolution moved by Mr. Mumtaz Ahmad Qaisrani (Bhutto Khan) demanding the Federal Government to construct two-way Indus Highway from Ramak, District Dera Ghazi Khan to Kashmore via Rajanpur avoiding traffic casualties, was unanimously passed by the House.
Zero Hour
The Motion moved by Sardar Shahabuddin Khan Sehir regarding suspension of two teachers of Government Girls Model High School, Khanpur, District Rahimyar Khan without any reason by influential officers of Education Department in retaliation on suspension of Headmistress of that school by the Provincial Minister for Education, was kept pending till next week.
The Motion moved by Ms. Faiza Ahmed Malik regarding lack of action against officials of Cooperative Department involved in fraud and embezzlement of billions of rupees despite applications submitted by victims to the officers of that department, was kept pending till next week.
The House was then adjourned to meet on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.
