A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Local Government (Amendment) Bill 2016, as recommended by Standing Committee on Local Government and Community Development, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Local Government (Amendment) Bill 2016, be passed.
2. THE PUNJAB LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SIXTH AMENDMENT) BILL 2016 (BILL No. 43 of 2016)
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Local Government (Sixth Amendment) Bill 2016, as recommended by Standing Committee on Local Government and Community Development, be taken into consideration at once.

Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Fateha
The House offered Fateha on the sad demise of Makhdoom Syed Muhammad Abdullah Shah Bukhari, Ex-MPA and father of Syed Haroon Ahmed Sultan Bukhari, Minister for Bait-ul-Maal & Social Welfare.
Question Hour
Questions relating to Cooperatives Department were asked and Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar, Minister for Cooperatives answered the questions. The questions relating to Population Welfare Department were not taken up.
At this stage, the quorum was pointed out and the House was then adjourned at 06:17 p.m.to meet on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
