Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Question Hour
Questions relating to Industries, Commerce & Investment and Special Education Departments were asked and Sheikh Ala ud Din, Minister for Industries, Commerce & Investment and Ch Muhammad Shafique, Minister for Special Education answered the questions.
Call Attention Notices
Two Call Attention Notices were taken up. The Notice moved by Ms. Khadija Umar regarding looting rupees 2.5 lacks, mobile and other valuables from Mr. Imran by the dacoits after forcibly entering his store near Bhatta Gorayian, Kasur and the second Notice of Mr. Muhammad Sibtain Khan regarding dacoity of currency and killing a security guard on resistance by the dacoits at the petrol pump of U.C. Chairman near Dijkot, District Faisalabad.
The Notices were answered by Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.
Adjournment Motion
The Adjournment Motion moved by Ch Ashraf Ali Ansari regarding increase in the sale of narcotics/drugs in Jehlum city and its surroundings and establishment of places promoting obscenity, was kept pending till next week.
