Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ.

At this stage, quorum was pointed out by the Opposition. The House was adjourned for twenty minutes. On completion of the quorum, proceedings of the House were started again.

Question Hour

Questions relating to Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department were asked and Malik Muhammad Ali Khokhar, Parliamentary Secretary for Primary and Secondary Healthcare answered the questions.

Mr. Speaker welcomed honorable guests Haji Nasir Mahmood, ex-MPA and Mayor of Gujrat, along with his colleagues to this august House.

The quorum was again pointed out by the Opposition. After ringing bells for five minutes, the quorum was completed and the proceedings of the House continued.

On closing of the sitting, the House was adjourned at 12:30 p.m. to meet on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 03:00 p.m.
