MINISTER FOR FINANCE to introduce the Punjab Finance Bill 2017.
(c) LAYING OF AMENDMENTS AND THE RULES
4. AMENDMENTS IN THE SECOND SCHEDULE UNDER SECTION 5(3) OF THE PUNJAB SALES TAX ON SERVICES ACT, 2012 AND THE RULES MADE UNDER SECTION 76(2) OF THE ACT IBID
MINISTER FOR FINANCE to lay the Notifications relating to the amendments in the Second Schedule of the Punjab Sales Tax on Services Act 2012 and the Rules made under the Act ibid.

Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ.

In terms of Rule 13 (1) of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, 1997, Rai Mumtaz Hussain Babar, Senior Secretary Assembly, announced the Panel of Chairmen nominated by Mr. Speaker in the following order:-
1. Mian Marghoob Ahmed (PP-150)
2. Rana Munawar Hussain alias Rana Munawar Ghous Khan (PP-36)

Presentation of Budget
ANNUAL BUDGET STATEMENT FOR THE YEAR 2017-18
Dr. Aisha Ghaus Pasha, Minister for Finance delivered her budget speech and presented the Annual Budget Statement for the year 2017-18 amidst Opposition protests and uproar in the House.
SUPPLEMENTARY BUDGET STATEMENT FOR THE YEAR 2016-2017
The Minister for Finance also presented the Supplementary Budget Statement for the year 2016-17.
THE PUNJAB FINANCE BILL 2017
The Minister for Finance introduced the Punjab Finance Bill, 2017
At this stage, Mr. Speaker announced that the Members who would like to participate in the general discussion on Annual Budget statement from Monday would give their names to the Secretary Assembly.
