Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ.
Panel of Chairmen
In terms of Rule 13 (1) of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, 1997, Rai Mumtaz Hussain Babar, Senior Secretary Assembly, announced the Panel of Chairmen nominated by Mr. Speaker in the following order:-
1. Malik Muhammad Waris Kallu (PP-42)
2. Syed Muhammad Sibtain Raza (PP-260)
3. Dr. Murad Rass (PP-152)
4. Ms. Lubna Faisal (W-332)
Question Hour
Questions relating to Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department were on the agenda and were kept pending till next week due to the absence of the concerned Minister.
At this stage, the quorum was pointed out and the House was then adjourned at 06:13 p.m. to meet on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
