1.   THE PUNJAB HEPATITIS ORDINANCE 2017

            A MINISTER to lay the Punjab Hepatitis Ordinance 2017.

2.   THE PUNJAB TIANJIN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY LAHORE ORDINANCE 2017

            A MINISTER to lay the Punjab Tianjin University of Technology Lahore Ordinance 2017.

(B)  INTRODUCTION OF BILLS

1.   THE CHOLISTAN UNIVERSITY OF VETERINARY AND ANIMAL SCIENCES BAHAWALPUR BILL 2017

            A MINISTER to introduce the Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Bahawalpur Bill 2017.

2.   THE BAHAWALPUR DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (REPEAL) BILL 2017

            A MINISTER to introduce the Bahawalpur Development Authority (Repeal) Bill 2017.

Question Hour

Questions relating to Cooperatives and Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Departments were asked and Khawaja Muhammad Waseem, Parliamentary Secretary for Cooperatives and Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rahman, Minister for Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control answered the questions.

Laying of Report

Mr. Amjad Ali Javaid presented before the House the report of Standing Committee on Health in respect of The Punjab Medical Supplies Authority Bill 2017 (Bill No. 32 of 2017).

At this stage, the Opposition walked out against Government’s inaction towards blatant promotion of anti-Islamic practices in a Muslim country like Pakistan, where Muslims Holy day i.e. Friday is called Black, following celebrations and offensive traditions. The Opposition demanded the Government to remove hoardings and banners promoting tradition of pre-Christmas sales on this day and take necessary measures to stop this systematic insult in the name of Black Friday.

Suspension of Rules

On a motion moved by Mr. Muhammad Waheed Gull, under Rule 234 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, 1997, the House granted leave to suspend Rule 115 and others of the Rules ibid, for taking up the following Resolution:

 

 

 

Resolution

Mr. Muhammad Waheed Gull moved the resolution demanding inclusion of chapter of Khatam-e-Nabuwwat in the syllabus of schools and colleges, was unanimously passed by the House.

At this stage, the quorum was pointed and the House was then adjourned at 12:06 p.m. to meet on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 02:00 p.m.

"اس ایوان کی رائے ہے کہ ہم مسلمان اللہ رب العالمین کو وحدہ لا شریک اور محمد رسولﷺکو آخری نبیﷺ ہونے پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور ختم نبوت ﷺ کا دفاع ہمارے ایمان کا حصہ ہے اور اس کا دفاع ہمارا ایمانی فریضہ ہے اور آئین پاکستان نے بھی اس کو مکمل تحفظ فراہم کیا ہے۔ اس لئے نسل نو کو عقیدہ ختم نبوت ﷺ کی ضرورت و اہمیت کے عنوان سے باخبر رکھنے کے لئے مسلمان طلباء و طالبات کیلئے لازمی مضمون قرار دیا جانا لازم ہے۔ لہذا صوبائی اسمبلی کا یہ نمائندہ ایوان وفاقی اور صوبائی حکومت سے اس امر کی سفارش کرتا ہے کہ عقیدہ ختم نبوت ﷺ کے عنوان سے نصاب تعلیم میں مضمون شامل کیا جائے۔"
