Question Hour
Questions relating to Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal and Prisons Departments were asked. Mr Muhammad Ilyas Ansari, Parliamentary Secretary for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal and Malik Ahmad Yar Hunjra, Minister for Prisons, answered the questions.
Extension in Time Limit for Laying the Report
On a Motion moved by Mian Tariq Mehmood, the House granted extension from 25 January 2018 to 31 May 2018 to the Public Accounts Committee-II for laying its reports on “Report of Auditor General of Pakistan on Public Sector Enterprises Government of the Punjab for the year 2015-16.
On a Motion moved by Mr. Waheed Asghar Dogar, the House granted extension upto 31st May 2018 to the Public Accounts Committee-I for laying its reports on “Four Audit Reports of Auditor General of Pakistan on the Accounts of Punjab Government for the year 2012-13 and Seven Audit Reports for the year 2014-15”.
On a Motion moved by Mr Zulfiqar Ghauri, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on Human Rights & Minorities Affairs for laying its report on “The Punjab Anand Karaj Bill 2017 (Bill No.31 of 2017) moved by Mr Ramesh Singh Arora, MPA (NM-368)”.
On a Motion moved by Mr. Asif Mehmood, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on Environment Protection for laying its report on “Zero Hour No.175 moved by Mian Muhammad Kazim Ali Pirzada, MPA (PP-273)”.
On a Motion moved by Dr. Murad Raas, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on Cooperatives for laying its report on “Starred Question No. 8383 asked by Mr Asif Mehmood MPA (PP-9)”.
On a Motion moved by Mr Zulfiqar Ghauri, the House granted one month extension to the Standing Committee on Livestock & Dairy Development for laying its report on “The Punjab Animals Slaughter Control (Amendment) Bill 2016 (Bill No.5 of 2016) moved by Dr Nausheen Hamid, MPA (W-356)”.
On a Motion moved by Mian Muhammad Islam Aslam, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries for laying its reports on “Starred Question Nos.8531, 8960, 9340 and 9282.
Call Attention Notice
The Call Attention Notice of Mian Aslam Iqbal regarding demanding extortion money and murder threat to Mr. Arshad Chaudhry resident of Jauhar Town Lahore, was disposed of.
The Notice was answered by Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.
