            A MINISTER to lay the Special Audit Reports on Private Housing Schemes under GDA Gujranwala, MDA, Multan and FDA, Faisalabad, HUD & PHE Department, Government of the Punjab, for the audit year 2015-16.

2.   SPECIAL AUDIT REPORT ON WATER & SANITATION AGENCY (WASA) LAHORE, HUD & PHE DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB, FOR THE AUDIT YEAR 2014-15

            A MINISTER to lay the Special Audit Report on Water & Sanitation Agency (WASA) Lahore, HUD & PHE Department, Government of the Punjab, for the audit year 2014-15.

3.   PROJECT AUDIT REPORT ON CONSTRUCTION OF RAWALPINDI-ISLAMABAD METRO BUS PROJECT, HUD & PHE DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB, FOR THE AUDIT YEAR 2015-16

            A MINISTER to lay the Project Audit Report on construction of Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro Bus Project, HUD & PHE Department, Government of the Punjab, for the audit year 2015-16.

(B)  CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE OF BILLS

1.         THE LIMITATION (PUNJAB AMENDMENT) BILL 2018 (BILL No. 08 of 2018)

            A MINISTER to move that the Limitation (Punjab Amendment) Bill 2018, as recommended by Standing Committee on Law, be taken into consideration at once.

         A MINISTER to move that the Limitation (Punjab Amendment) Bill 2018, be passed.

2.         THE BAHAWALPUR DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (REPEAL) BILL 2018 (BILL No. 06 of 2018)

                A MINISTER to move that the Bahawalpur Development Authority (Repeal) Bill 2018, as recommended by Standing Committee on Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering, be taken into consideration at once.

         A MINISTER to move that the Bahawalpur Development Authority (Repeal) Bill 2018, be passed.

3.         THE UNIVERSITY OF NAROWAL BILL 2018 (BILL No. 10 of 2018)

            A MINISTER to move that the University of Narowal Bill 2018, as recommended by Standing Committee on Education, be taken into consideration at once.

         A MINISTER to move that the University of Narowal Bill 2018, be passed.

4.         THE PUNJAB TIANJIN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY LAHORE BILL 2017 (BILL No. 03 of 2018)

            A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Tianjin University of Technology Lahore Bill 2017, as recommended by Standing Committee on Industries, Commerce and Investment, be taken into consideration at once.

         A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Tianjin University of Technology Lahore Bill 2017, be passed.

5.         THE UNIVERSITY OF SIALKOT BILL 2018 (BILL No. 09 of 2018)

            A MINISTER to move that the University of Sialkot Bill 2018, as recommended by Standing Committee on Education, be taken into consideration at once.

         A MINISTER to move that the University of Sialkot Bill 2018, be passed.

6.         THE PUNJAB HEPATITIS BILL 2017 (BILL No. 02 of 2018)

            A MINISTER to move that the requirements of Rule 95 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997 may be dispensed with under Rule 234 of the said rules, for immediate consideration and passage of the Punjab Hepatitis Bill 2017.

            A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Hepatitis Bill 2017, as recommended by Standing Committee on Health, be taken into consideration at once.

         A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Hepatitis Bill 2017, be passed.

7.         THE CHOLISTAN UNIVERSITY OF VETERINARY AND ANIMAL SCIENCES BAHAWALPUR BILL 2018 (BILL No. 05 of 2018)

            A MINISTER to move that the requirements of Rule 95 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997 may be dispensed with under Rule 234 of the said rules, for immediate consideration and passage of the Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Bahawalpur Bill 2018.

            A MINISTER to move that the Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Bahawalpur Bill 2018, as recommended by Standing Committee on Livestock and Dairy Development, be taken into consideration at once.

         A MINISTER to move that the Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Bahawalpur Bill 2018, be passed.

Question Hour

 

Questions relating to Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal, Special Education, Population Welfare and Public Prosecution Departments were on the agenda. Due to the absence of Ch Muhammad Shafique, Minister for Special Education and Mr. Ahmed Khan Baloch, Parliamentary Secretary for Public Prosecution, questions relating to Special Education and Public Prosecution Departments could not be taken up and were kept pending. Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmad Bherth, Minister for Population Welfare and Haji Muhammad Ilyas Ansari, Parliamentary Secretary for Bait-ul-Maal & Social Welfare answered the questions.

 

Adjournment Motion

 

The Adjournment Motion moved by Ms. Shunila Ruth regarding failure due to negligence and in connivance with staff of Revenue Department Lahore to send transfer of property deeds relating to urban areas to the owners at their residential addresses regardless its notification five months back and payment of transfer fee in the registry office by the concerned, was kept pending till next week.

At this stage, the quorum was pointed out at 11:21 a.m. which was incomplete after ringing bells for five minutes. The Chair then adjourned the proceedings for twenty minutes. On resumption, the quorum was still incomplete and the House was adjourned at 01:29 p.m. to meet on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.
