اس ایوان کی رائے ہے  کہ صوبہ کے تعلیمی اداروں میں ڈی جے نائٹس (D J Nights) کا اہتمام کیا جاتا ہے جو مغربی ثقافت کو فروغ دینے کی ایک گھناؤنی سازش ہےان سرگرمیوں سے ہمارے طلباء و طالبات بے راہ روی کا شکار ہو رہے ہیں اوریہ  ہمارے مشرقی ثقافت اور نظریہ پاکستان کی کھلم کھلا خلاف ورزی ہے۔ تعلیمی اداروں کے سربراہان کی جانب  سے مجرمانہ خاموشی بھی سوالیہ نشان ہے۔ لہذا اس ایوان کی رائے ہے کہ اس قسم کی تقریبات پر مستقل پابندی عائد کی جائے تاکہ نوجوان نسل کو اخلاقی تباہی سے بچایا جا سکے۔

اس ایوان کی رائے ہے کہ دُنیا کی تاریخ گواہ ہے کہ غیور اقوام نے اپنی عزت، غیرت اور حمیت  پرکبھی  کوئی سمجھوتا نہیں کیا۔ تمام اقوام کو آزادانہ کاروبار کرنے کا حق ہے لیکن کسی بھی غیرملکی کو پنجاب کی سرزمین پر زمین کی ملکیت کا اختیار نہ دیا جائے۔ اس بارے میں  پنجاب میں قانون سازی کی جائے کہ کسی غیرملکی فرد/کمپنی یا ملک کو ملکیت کا حق نہیں دیا جائے گا۔

Mr. Yasir Zafar Sindhu, Member-elect from (Sargodha-III) (PP-30) made an oath and signed the Roll of Members. The Speaker administered the oath.

 

Questions Hour

 

Questions relating to Public Prosecution and Home Departments were asked and Rana Muhammad Afzal, Parliamentary Secretary for Home and Mr. Ahmed Khan Baloch, Parliamentary Secretary for Public Prosecution answered the questions.

 

At this stage, Mr. Speaker welcomed to the House a delegation of Sikhs Community hailing from Canada and United Kingdom to observe the proceedings.

 

Adjournment Motion

 

The Adjournment Motion moved by Dr. Murad Rass regarding shortage of ventilators at Old Surgical ICU, Children Hospital, was kept pending.

At this stage, the quorum was pointed out at 12:58 p.m. which was complete after ringing bells for five minutes and the proceedings resumed.

During consideration and passage of Bills, the quorum was pointed out twice at 01:25 and 02:04. After ringing bells for five minutes the quorum was complete and the proceedings resumed.

Resolutions in the Public Interest

 

1.         The resolution moved by Sheikh Ijaz Ahmad that the DJ Nights are held in the educational institutions across the province is a conspiracy to promote western culture. Such activities are leading our students to become astray and openly violating our eastern culture and ideology of Pakistan.  Heads/Principals of these institutions are silent on such activities, which is question mark and demanded to permanently put ban on such functions to save young generation from moral degradation, was unanimously passed by the House.

 

2.         The resolution of Syed Abdul Aleem that it is a practice of respectful nations to never compromise on their self esteem. All the nations have right to freely undertake their business however, no foreigner can be allowed to have ownership rights on the land of Punjab. Therefore, it is necessary to legislate not to give ownership rights of land in Punjab to any person, company or a foreigner, was kept pending as the mover was not present.

 

3.         The resolution moved by Dr. Nausheen Hamid demanding effective legislation to check and prevent torture/corporal punishment given to the students especially disabled in the educational institutions, was passed by the House.

 

4.         The resolution of Ms. Raheela Khadim Hussain demanding to continue this year the practice of celebrating Mela Jashn-e- Baharan in Race Course Park, was kept pending as the mover was not present.

 

5.         The resolution of Mr. Muhammad Sibtain Khan demanding to install water filtrations in main water pipelines in every colony to save public from harmful diseases, was kept pending as the mover was not present.

 

Zero Hour

 

On a motion moved by Ms. Nabila Hakim Ali Khan that underground contaminated water released from illegally established factories in Phool Nagar is also contaminating potable/drinking water in the adjacent areas namely Nathe Khalsa, Sardarpur and Lodhi Town and resulting in spread of fatal diseases and damaging thousands of acre of land and crops grown over there, was kept pending.

The House was then adjourned at 02:36 p.m. to meet on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
