In terms of Rule 13 (1) of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, 1997, Rai Mumtaz Hussain Babar, Senior Secretary Assembly, announced the Panel of Chairmen nominated by Mr. Speaker in the following order:-

Presentation of Supplementary Budget
Supplementary Budget Statement and Revised Estimates for the Financial Year 2017-2018
Dr. Aisha Ghaus Pasha, Minister for Finance delivered Supplementary Budget speech amidst uproar and rumpus in the House by the opposition Members and presented the Supplementary Budget Statement of 85.4 billion rupees and Revised Estimates for the Financial year 2017-18. In her speech she said that the government had the right to present a Budget for the upcoming Fiscal year under the Constitution, but the current regime respected the public mandate. Talking on the performance of the Provincial government she claimed that international publication, well reputed consultants and other institutions had declared Punjab as an exemplary province due to its performance in education, health, agriculture, land record management, social protection, infrastructure and rural uplift. She added that the government’s focus was to deliver exceptional services, equality and transparency.
