Questions relating to Social Welfare, Bait-ul-Maal and Excise & Taxation were asked and answered by Dr. Muhammad Shafique Chuadhry, Minister for Excise & Taxation, Mrs Aashifa Riaz Fatyana, Minister for Women Development & Human Rights with Additional Charge of Social Welfare and Mr Muhammad Ejaz Shafi,Minister for Bait-ul-Maal.
During Question Hour Rai Ijaz Ahmad Khan, at Sr. No. 1 of Panel of chairmen, assumed the Chair.
PRIVILEGE MOTION:-
Privilege motion of Malik Jalal-ul-Din Dhaku, regarding contemptuous behaviour of E.D.O.(Education) Sahiwal ,was kept pending on his request.

A). Adjournment Motion no. 674/05 of Faiza Ahmad,Uzma Zahid Bokhari and Sami Ullah Khan, Adjournment Motion no. 680/05 of Hajji Muhammad Ijaz,Malik Asghir Ali Qaiser and Chaudhry Zahid Pervaiz ,Adjournment Motion no. 688/05 of Mr. Abdul Aleem Shah,Mr. Muhammad Mohsin Khan Leghari and Mr. Muhammad Yousaf Khan Leghari ,Adjournment Motion no. 689/05 of Mr. Arshad Mahmood Baguu and Adjournment Motion no. 691/05 of Dr. Syed Wasim Akhter were kept pending.
B) Adjournment Motion of Mr. Najaf Abbas Sial (687/05) was disposed of as he was not present.
C) Adjournment Motion no. 671/05 of Syed Nazar Hussain Shah, Rana Aftab Ahmad Khan and Dr. Asad Muazam regarding lack of funds in Drug Testing Laboratory Project ,was answered by Mrs. Farzana Nazir , Parliamentary Secretary for Health and disposed of accordingly.Adjournment Motion no. 685/05 of Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channer , regarding torture on prisoners by Jail officials ,was answered by Muhammad Basharat Raja,Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs and disposed of accordingly .Adjournment Motion no. 686/05 of Mrs Parveen Masood Bhatti , regarding shifting of Sabzi Mandi from conjested place in Bahawal Pur city to some out side place,answered by Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, Minister for Agicultural Marketing and disposed of accordingly. Adjournment Motion no. 691/05 of Dr. Syed Wasim Akhter, regarding southern Punjab Basic Support urban Programme, answered by Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs and Local Government & Rural Development, and disposed of accordingly.Adjournment Motion no. 684/05 of Ch. Zahid Pervaiz ,Malik Asghir Ali Qaiser and Haji Muhammad Ejaz (684/05), regarding construction of a road in village Rasool Pura District Okara, answered by Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs and Local Government & Rural Development and disposed of accordingly.
PRIVATE MEMBER’S BUSINESS:-
RESOLUTIONS:
1) Following resolution of Dr Syed Wasim Akhtar with certain amendments was passed unanimously by the House.
2) Following resolution of Syeda Sughra Imam was disposed of as with drawn how ever the matter was referred to Standing Committee on Finance.
Syeda Sughra Imam: "This House is of the opinion that the formula proposed by the Government of the
Punjab in respect of distribution of national resources by the National Finance
Commission among the provinces be adopted by the Provincial Government of the
Punjab in the distribution of provincial resources amongst the districts of the province."
At 1:05 p.m. the House was adjourned for 30 minutes to offer Zuher Prayer.
At 1:45 p.m. the House met after the Prayer break Rai Ijaz Ahmad Khan, at Sr. No. 1 of Panel of chairmen, assumed the Chair.
3) Following resolution of Dr. Syed Wasim Akhter was pended as the matter was before Hon’ble Supreme Court for adjudication.
4) Following resolution of Ms Azma Zahid Bokhari was disposed of as with drawn as the mover was told by Mr.Muhammad Ejaz Shafi, the Minister for Bait-ul-Maal, that the Dowry Fund has already been increased.
5) Following resolution of Mr. Sami Ullah Khan was passed, with certain amendments, unanimously by the House.
