A MINISTER to introduce the Punjab Criminal Prosecution Service (Constitution, Functions and Powers) Bill 2005.
Summary of Proceedings

QUESTION HOUR:-
Questions relating to Services & General Administration and Information Departments were asked and answers given by Minister for Food Ch Muhammad Iqbal Additional charge of
a. S&GAD
b. Commerce & Investment
And Ch Zaheer-ud-Din Khan, Minister for Communication & Works Additional charge of the Information department.
At this stage Sardar Shaukat Hussain Mazari, Deputy Speaker,assumed the Chair.
LEAVE APPLICATIONS:
Three leave applications of following members were accepted by the House;
a) Mr. Muhammad Azeem Ghuman
b) Mr. Imran Ashraf
c) Mrs. Memona Nabeel.
Extension in time limit to lay the reports before the House by the Standing Committees:-
1) On a motion moved by Mrs. Samina Naveed, the House granted extension in time limit to lay the report of Standing Committee on Revenue,Relief and Consolidation on the Punjab Prohibition of Private Money Lending Bill 2003 (bill no. 24 of 2003) moved Mrs. Humaira Awais Shahid before the House till 31st December 2005.
2) On the Motion moved by Mrs. Misbah Kokab the House granted extention in time limit to lay the report of Standing Committee on privileges on Privilege Motions nos.5,41,43,52-57,65-72 of year 2003 ,32,53,71 and 72 of year 2004 and 11,14,27,32,38,40,47,50 and 60 of year 2005 before the House till 28th February 2006.
3) On the Motion moved by Mr. Amanat Ullah Khan Shadi Khel, the House granted extension in time to lay the report of Standing Committee on Law and Parliamentary Affairs till 31st December 2005 on following Bills before the House,
a) The Punjab Minister (Salaries, Allowances and Privileges)(Amendment )Bill 2004 (Bill no. 22 of 2004)
b) The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab Privileges (Amendment)Bill 2004 (Bill No. 27 of 2004 ) moved by Rana Sana Ullah Khan.
c) The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab Privileges (Amendment) Bill 2004) moved by Mrs. Shaheena Asad and
d) The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab Privileges (Amendment ) Bill 2005 (Bill no.3 of 2005) moved by Rana Sana Ullah Khan
PRIVILEGE MOTIONS:-
Privilege Motions of Mr. Abdul Rashid Bhatti(60/05)and of Malik Jalal-ul-Din Dhaku (62/05) were kept pending till next session on their request.
ADJOURNMENT MOTIONS:-
One Adjournment Motion of Ms. Azma Zahid Bokhari and Mr. Sami Ullah Khan (674/05),regarding stopping of pay to 52 Lady Health Supervisors, Workers and Drivers of National Programme for Family Planning and Primary Health Care, was answered by the Minister for Health Dr. Tahir Ali Javed and disposed of accordingly.

Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs introduced THE PUNJAB CRIMINAL PROSECUTION SERVICE (CONSTITUTION, FUNCTIONS AND POWERS) BILL 2005 (Bill No.25 of 2005) ,under Rule 91(5) of RULES OF PROCEDURE OF PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF THE PUNJAB 1997, Which was referred to the Special Committee consisting of the following members to give report till 31st December2005,
