RESOLUTION
Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs moved for suspension of rules for moving resolution regarding condemnation of blasphemous cartoons. The House unanimously granted permission after a brief discussion actively participated by Mr. Qasim Zia, Leader of Opposition, Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Arshad Mahmood Baggu, Ch. Asghar Ali Gujjar, MPAs and Ch. Parvez Elahi, Chief Minister. The leader of the House, Ch. Parvez Elahi, moved the following resolution:-
Moving of the resolution was followed by short speeches by the Chief Minister, Leader of the Opposition and Rana Sana Ullah, MPA. During discussion it was unanimously decided that the House, both the Government and Opposition benched would stage a protest demonstration under the leadership of the Leader of the House, outside the Assembly building after the sitting. The resolution was then adopted unanimously.

Note: Immediately after the sitting, a protest demonstration was staged by all MPAs of the Assembly under the leadership of Chief Minister outside the Assembly building.
