Rai Ejaz Ahmad MPA assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with the recitation from the Holy Quran.
The House was adjourned till 3.00 pm on Wednesday, 15 March, 2006 without any proceedings due to sad demise of mother of Ch. Pervez Elahi, Chief Minister of the Punjab and Leader of the House, with the directions by the Chair that Secretary Housing should submit his reply by Wednesday, 15 March 2006, on the Adjournment Motion moved by Rana Aftab Ahmad Khan. He also directed the Assembly Secretariat to rearrange the agenda of Private Member’s day on 15 March 2006, which had to be taken up on Tuesday 14 March 2006.
