 Ch. Muhammad Afzal Sahi, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with the recitation from the Holy Quran.

 

PRIVILEGE MOTIONS:-

 

Total 3 Privilege Motions were taken up. Privilege Motion moved by Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas regarding non presentation of Report of Council of Islamic Ideology was kept pending till 28-6-2006, on the request of Ch. Muhammad Iqbal, Minister for Food with additional charge of S&GAD.

 

Privilege Motion moved by Mr. Mudassar Qayyum Nahra against SHO Noshera Virkan for misconduct with the mover was referred to the Privilege Committee.

 

Privilege Motion moved by Sardar Muhammad Amanullah Khan Dreshak regarding misconduct of EDO (Education) Rajan Pur and P.S. to Minister for Education was also referred to the Privilege Committee.

 

ADJOURNMENT MOTIONS:-

 

Total 10 Adjournment Motions were called. Out of which five Adjournment Motions moved by Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas, Mrs. Farzana Raja, Mst. Uzma Zahid Bokhari and Rana Sanaullah Khan were kept pending till 3-7-2006 except motions moved by Mst. Uzma Zahid Bokhari and Rana Sanaullah Khan, which were kept pending till 28-6-2006.

 

While two Adjournment Motions of Mian Muhammad Asghar and Sheikh Allaudin were disposed of due to their absence.

 

Another Adjournment motion moved by Mst. Uzma Zahid Bukhari was about victimization of Kusar Bibi of Klor Kot, as a result of “WINI” ritual was answered by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs and was disposed of.

 

Adjournment Motion moved by Malik Asghar Ali Qaisar was about non realization of outstanding amounts of rent of bus stands leased out by the Transport Department to Urban Transport Companies. The motion was replied by Rana Shamshad Ahmad Khan, Minister for Transport and was disposed of.

 

Adjournment Motion moved by Sheikh Ijaz Ahmad about the incident of dacoity in his house situated in Faisalabad was replied by Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs and was disposed of.

 

GENERAL DISCUSSION ON SUPPLEMENTARY BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 2005-06:-

 

The General discussion on supplementary budget 2005-06 was concluded by Sardar Hasnain Bahadar Dreshak, Minister for Finance which had commenced the previous day.

 

DISCUSSION AND VOTING ON SUPPLEMENTARY DEMANDS FOR GRANTS 2005-06:-

 

The House passed 38 Demands for Grants included in the Supplementary Budget 2005-06.

 

LAYING OF THE SUPPLEMENTARY SCHEDULE OF AUTHORIZED EXPENDITURE FOR THE YEAR 2005-06:-

 

Minister for Finance laid the Supplementary Schedule of Authorized Expenditure for the year 2005-06.

 

The House was then adjourned till 10.00 am, on Wednesday 28 June, 2006.
