      THE PUNJAB PENSION FUND BILL 2006 (Bill No.28 of 2006)

 

 

            A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Pension Fund Bill 2006, as recommended by Standing Committee on Finance, be taken into consideration at once.

 

 

            A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Pension Fund Bill 2006, be passed.

Ch. Muhammad Afzal Sahi, Speaker, assumed the chair and proceedings commenced with the recitation from the Holy Quran.

QUESTION HOUR:-

Questions relating to Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries Department

were asked and answers were given by Dr Ashfaq-ur-Rehman, Minister for Wildlife and Fisheries Department.

 

PRIVILEGE MOTIONS:-

Two Privilege Motions were taken up. Privilege Motion moved by Sheikh Tanveer Ahmad concerning misconduct of the traffic sergeant National highway& Motorway police Sahiwal was referred to the Privilege committee. Other Privilege motion moved by Raja Muhammad Shafqat Khan Abbasi about misbehavior of the Superintendent of police Rawalpindi Sadar was kept pending till Tuesday.

 

ADJOURNMENT MOTIONS:-

Four Adjournment Motions were taken up. Out of which Adjournment Motion moved by Sheikh Ijaz Ahmad regarding extension in service of the vice Chancellors of four universities, Principals of the two colleges and other Professors and the Adjournment Motion moved by Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan concerning the ban of two stroke rikshaws in Lahore were kept pending till Thursday. The Adjournment Motion moved by Mr. Aftab Ahmad Khan was kept pending till Monday. The Adjournment Motion moved by Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas concerning the high prices of the commodities used for every day life was kept pending till Friday.

 

GOVERNMENT BUSINESS:-

THE PUNJAB PENSION FUND BILL 2006 (Bill No.28 of 2006)

Mr. Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs moved THE Punjab Pension Fund Bill, 2006 as recommended by the standing committee on Finance may be passed. After clause by clause consideration the bill was passed.

The House was then adjourned till 10.00 am on Thursday, 8 March, 2007.
