QUESTION HOUR:-
Questions relating to LIVESTOCK & DAIRY DEVELOPMENT AND ZAKAT & USHR DEPARTMENTS were asked and answers were given by Chaudhry Aamir Sultan Cheema and Mian Khadim Hussain Wattoo, Minister concerned.
PRIVILEGE MOTIONS:-
Three Privilege Motions were taken up. Privilege Motion moved by Chaudhry Tasneem Nasir regarding fake registration of FIR against him by SSP Jehlum, Privilege Motion moved by Mrs Noor-un-Nisa Malik concerning misconduct of Saif ullah Bhatti, SHO Civil line Faisalabad and Privilege Motion moved by Miss Zaib-un-Nisa Qureshi were kept pending till
17-6-07.
ADJOURNMENT MOTIONS:-
Five Adjournment Motions were taken up. Out of which two Adjournment Motions moved by Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channer regarding registration of College of Engineering and other motion regarding over charging of fee by TMA Bahawalpur from tractor trolley owners coming from out side Bahawalpur. One Adjournment Motion moved by Sheikh Alla-ud-Din regarding internet clubs causing vulgarity,l. One Adjournment Motion moved by Sheikh Ijaz Ahmad regarding discontinuing of crushing of sugarcane and paying less to sugarcane growers were kept pending till 21-6-07. The Adjournment Motion moved by Ch Zahid Pervaiz on 12-6-07 was also kept pending till 21-6-07.
GOVERNMENT BUSINESS:-
THE PUNJAB KATCHI ABADIS (AMENDMENT) BILL 2007 (BILL No.14 of 2007)
Minister for Cooperatives Col (Retd) Muhammad Anwar Malik introduced the Punjab Katchi Abadis (Amendment) Bill 2007 which was referred to the Standing Committee on Local Government and Rural Development for report up to 31 July 2007.
LAYING OF COMMITTEE REPORT:
Dr Samia Amjad laid the report of the Standing Committee on Wild Life on “The Punjab Wildlife (Protection, Preservation conservation and Management) (Amendment) Bill 2007” (Bill No.3 of 2007).
The House was then adjourned till 3.00 pm on Thursday, 14 June 2007.
