Summoning Order

PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF THE PUNJAB

N O T I F I C A T I O N

8 June 2008

No.PAP-Legis-1(34)/2008/1154.              The following Order, made by the Governor of the Punjab, is hereby published for general information:-

 

“O R D E R

            In exercise of the powers conferred on me under Article 109 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, I, Salmaan Taseer, Governor of the Punjab, hereby summon the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab to meet on Monday, 9th June, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Punjab Assembly Chambers, Lahore for the vote of confidence in the Chief Minister under Article 130(3) of the Constitution.

I further direct that the session shall stand prorogued after the transaction of the business of vote of confidence in the Chief Minister.
