Ch Sarfraz Afzal son of Ch Muhammad Afzal was born on July 11, 1975 at Rawalpindi. A businessman, who graduated in 2002 from Baha-ud-Din Zakaria University, Multan. He has served as Union Nazim, District Council Rawalpindi during 2001-03. He has served as Vice President, T.B Association Rawalpindi during 2002-04 and as Member, Chamber of Commerce, Rawalpindi during 2002-05. He has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2008. His father served as Member District Council during 1983-85 and as Chairman, District Council Rawalpindi during 1997-99. His uncle, Ch Tanveer Khan served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1993-96 and 1997-99. Ch Tanveer Khan also remained Vice President of the Cantonment Board of Rawalpindi for three times. His brother-in-law, Raja Arshad Mehmood has also remained Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07. Ch Sarfraz Afzal is also the Political Assistant to the Chief Minister, Punjab.
