Miss Samina Naveed daughter of Mr Muhammad Sharif was born at Bahawalnagar. She obtained the degree of MA (Political Science) in 2000 from Islamia University, Bahawalpur and that of LL.B. in 2003 from Law College, Bahawalnagar. She has been functioning as Chairperson “Koshish Foundation” since 2003; as Member/Legal Advisor “Muslim Christian International Foundation” since 2005 and as Member of “SPNF” since 2005. A practicing lawyer and a social worker, who served as Member, District Council Bahawalnagar during 2000-02 and as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07. She has returned to Punjab Assembly for the second consecutive term in general eletions 2008 against one of the seats reserved for women. She has travelled to Dubai, USA, Canada, UK and France. Her brother-in-law, Mr Abdul Qadir Shaheen served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1988-90 and as Special Assistant to Chief Minister during 1995-96.
