Syeda Majida Zaidi wife of Syed Irtaza Haider Naqvi obtained the degree of MA (Islamiyat) in 1995 from Jamiat-ul-Muntazir, Lahore. She served as Councillor during 1998, as Member of District Council during 2003; and as Chairperson, Chief Minister Task Force on Women & Juvenile Prisoners. She has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2008 against one of the seats reserved for women.
