| Major (Retd) Zulfiqar Ali Gondal son of Mr Sher Muhammad Gondal was born on May 10, 1964. After doing his F.Sc. from Gordon College, Rawalpindi, he joined Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul. He was commissioned in Pakistan Army in September 1984. After retirement on medical grounds, in 2000, he joined politics on the platform of PPP. He was elected as Member, National Assembly in 2002 general elections. He was elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in bye-elections 2008 against the seat vacated by Ch Parvez Elahi (Ex Chief Minister, Punjab). He is a member of Public Accounts Committee. His areas of interest are health and education. | |
