Personal Career & Interests

Mr Zahoor Ahmed Sajid son of Mian Allah Yar was born on May 12, 1946 at Jhang. He obtained the degree of LL.B. in 1982 from Baha-ud-Din Zakariya University, Multan and that of M.A. (Political Science) in 1988 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. An agriculturist, who served as Member, District Council Jhang during 1987-91 and 1998-99; and as Nazim, Union Council No. 53, Jhang during 2001. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002. His younger brother, Mr Riaz Hashmat Janjua, was Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1985-88 and 1993-96; and also served as Advisor to the former Chief Minister, Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo. He was declared best Parliamentarian for his services as Member Punjab Assembly during 1985-88.
