Personal Career & Interests

Dr Ashfaq-ur-Rahman son of Ch Abdur Rahman Jami was born on April 27, 1956 at Sargodha. He obtained the degree of M.B.B.S. in 1985 from Nishter Medical College, Multan. He is a medical practitioner. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002, and was first appointed Minister for Fisheries and Forestry on January 4, 2003, and now he is functioning as Minister for Forestry since November 24, 2003. His father remained Member Punjab Assembly during 1972-77.
