Mr Muhammad Nasir Cheema son of Ch Khushi Muhammad was born on February 1, 1952 at Gujranwala. He obtained the degree of M.Sc. (Math) in 1975 and that of LL.B. in 1973 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. An agriculturist who remained Member, Zila Council Gujranwala during 1987-90, 1991-93 and 1997-99; and also served as Nazim, Union Council during 2000-02. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in bye-election 2005 against the seat vacated by Mr Mazhar Javed as a result of decision by the Election tribunal. His elder brother Mr Muhammad Azam Cheema remained Member of Punjab Assembly during 1985-88, 1988-90, 1993-96 and 1997-99; and also served as Advisor to the Chief Minister Punjab during 1990.
