Mian Imtiaz Aleem Qurashi son of Mian Raheem Bukhsh was born on January 1, 1940 at Tatha Qurashi, District Muzaffargarh. He obtained the degree of LL.B. in 1965 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. A practising lawyer, who served as Member, District Council, Muzaffargarh during 1979; as Vice-Chairman, District Council during 1983 and as Nazim Union Council, Tatha Qurashi, District Muzaffargarh during 2000. Having been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002, he has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Zakat & Ushr since 5-8-03. His cousin, Mian Muzaffar Mahdi was Member, National Assembly during 1965-69, and his cousin Mian Mustafa Zafar was Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1972-77; and his uncle Mian Fazal Kareem was Member Punjab Legislative Assembly during 1937-45.
