Chaudhry Mehmood Ahmed son of Chaudhry Ameer-ud-Din was born on February 12, 1965 at Liaquatpur, District Rahim Yar Khan; and is a law graduate. A businessman, who served as Vice Chairman, Town Committee, Liaquatpur; and as Naib Nazim Tehsil Council Liaquatpur, District Rahim Yar Khan. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002, and has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Food on August 5, 2003. His brother, Mr Masood Ahmed served as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1988-90, 1990-93 and 1997-99.
