Mr Ahad Malik, son of Malik Abdul Aziz, was born on November 11, 1940 in Lahore. He obtained the degree of LL.B. in 1968 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He served as Chairman NEFDAC, Islamabad, and now has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002. His uncle Malik Barkat Ali (late) was Member, Punjab Legislative Assembly during 1937-46 and 1946-47; his cousin, Mr Akhtar Malik, was Member National Assembly and also functioned as Federal Law Minister.
