Mr Joseph Hakim Din son of Mr Hakim Din was born on November 11, 1949 at Sialkot. He obtained the degree of M.A. (English) in 1984 from University of Peshawar, and the Diploma in TEFL in 1996 from A.I.O.U, Islamabad. He joined Pakistan Air Force, Education Branch on January 11, 1975, served for 18 years as Chief Warrant Officer and retired on January 10, 1992; and also performed instructional and administrative duties at I.S.S.B. Kohat, I.S.S.B. Gujranwala, Recruitment Training School, Chasma Barrage, P.A.F. Base, Mianwali, and Recruitment Training School, P.A.F., Base , Kohat. He has also undergone instructional and management courses at Ground Instructors School P.A.F. Base Kohat. He served as Tehsil Councillor, Pasrur, District Sialkot during 2001-02. Presently, he is functioning as Principal, St. Joseph Academy, Pasrur, Sialkot. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002 against one of the seats reserved for non-muslim minorities.
