Personal Career & Interests

Mr Mumtaz Hussain son of Ch Ghulam Rasul was born on February 2, 1932 at Sahiwal. He obtained the degree of LL.B. in 1957 from Government Law College, Lahore. A practicing lawyer and an agriculturist, who acted as Chairman, Municipal Committee Sahiwal for about 16 months. He served as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1985-88 and also functioned as Minister for Education, Finance and Excise & Taxation. He has returned to Punjab Assembly for the second term in General Elections 2002. He has visited several countries of Europe and Asia; and USA as well.
